DAY 1 – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Merzouga – Desert Camp

We will pass by you to your Riad / Hotel at 8:00 a.m. and we will head south across the Middle Atlas until we reach Ifrane. This is a city that will make you feel out of Morocco – it seems more like a place in Europe than in Africa. They will have time to take pictures and explore the city for a while. Once they are ready we will continue to the Cedar Forest where they can interact with the cute monkeys of the place. After saying goodbye to your new friends we will go to Midelt for lunch and rest for a while.

After lunch we will cross the Ziz Valley and its immense palm grove – one if not the largest palm grove in the world.

From here you will begin to feel the desert environment as the landscapes begin to change when we enter Errachidia. We will stop to take some photos before arriving in Merzouga where the camel driver will already be waiting for you. Once they have learned to use the Moroccan turban they will climb on their dromedary and cross the Sahara to watch the sunset on top of a dune. Then they will go to their camp in the middle of the desert.

After dinner you can enjoy an authentic Berber show with drums and nostalgic songs around a campfire. To complete your magical night in the desert, all you have to do is relax and look up – there you will find the most beautiful sky with more stars than you have ever seen.

DAY 2 – Erg Chebbi – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga

On the second day we invite you to wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise in the desert. After breakfast you will return to Merzouga in your dromedary so we can start exploring the Erg Chebbi Dunes. We will take the Paris-Dakar Rally road that will take us to the Tissardmin Oasis. Here you can collect fossil stones and we will continue our way to visit the nomadic fields. They will enter a real nomad tent and can share with them to learn a little about their customs and traditions.

Our next stop is the town of Khamlia, here you will spend a pleasant time listening to Gnawa spiritual music.

After lunch in the village we will take you to your accommodation and you will have the afternoon free to relax and see the beautiful sunset in the nearby dunes. After dinner at your hotel you can walk under the stars and enjoy your last night in the Sahara desert.

DAY 3 – Rissani – Todra – Dades Gorges

After breakfast we will return to our 4X4 and head to Rissani. Here you will really see another culture and if it is Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday you will also have the opportunity to walk around the huge market for a while. Leaving this interesting town behind we will go to Erfoud where if you wish we will visit a fossilized marble factory.

We will continue our way crossing the palm grove of Touroug until we reach the Todra Gorges – a spectacular canyon that is quite popular among rock climbers. We will have lunch here and then have time to explore this wonder of nature.

Once they are ready we will leave for the Dades Valley where they can take some of the best photographs of their entire trip. Natural rock formations called “Monkey Fingers” leave many speechless since it is hard to believe that these stones are real. After dinner at your hotel you will spend a relaxed night watching the sky, we assure you that many shooting stars cross this beautiful valley!

DAY 4 – Ouarzazate – Ait-Ben-Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast we will take you to a viewpoint where you can see the entire Dades Valley. After taking photos we will take the “Way of the Thousand Kasbahs.” We will make several stops to appreciate the beautiful landscapes and the Valley of the Roses. After passing the Skoura Palm Grove we will stop in Ouarzazate and visit the Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas Studios. We will continue our journey until we reach the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ait-Ben-Haddou. We will explore this fortified city and then have free time to rest and have lunch.

After lunch we will start our journey to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas and the imposing Tizi n’Tichka.

We will make several stops to take more pictures and arrive in Marrakech at approximately 6:00 p.m.

DAY 5 – Essaouira

We will pick you up at your Riad / Hotel at 8:00 a.m. and we will go to Essaouira, a charming city that rises on a rocky island surrounded by mountains, trees and fine sand dunes. Essaouira is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating places in all of Morocco and is famous for its nature reserve on Mogador Island and for its medina that has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Once we arrive you will have time to explore the medina, visit the port and have a delicious lunch while enjoying the hospitality of its people. On our return to Marrakech we can stop at a cooperative to see how Argan oil is produced while sharing a cup of mint tea with the women who work there.

We will return to Marrakech at night to have dinner and rest in your accommodation.

DAY 6 – Guided Tour of Marrakech

On our last day we will explore the fascinating Red City together. You can visit several historical monuments and places of interest such as the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, the Bay Palace and the Ben Youssef Madrasa. Around half a day we will walk through the beautiful alleys of the Medina and later we will go to the Jemaa El Fna Square. There you can take pictures with the famous macaques and snake charmers, read your hand with a magician or just entertain yourself with the tooth pulls. We will have lunch in a restaurant overlooking the square before going to the Majorelle Gardens where you can spend a quiet and pleasant time. In the afternoon we will explore Gueliz which is the new city of Marrakech. We recommend another visit to Jemma el Fna Square at night since at this time it comes alive.
