DAY 1 – Ait-Ben-Haddou – Ouarzazate – Gorges of Dades
We will pass by you to your Riad / Hotel at 8:00 a.m. and drive through the impressive mountains of the High Atlas making several stops to enjoy the beautiful views offered by the landscape. We will see Berber villages where you can take pictures and continue south until you reach the Kasbah Ait-Ben-Haddou. After exploring this UNESCO Heritage and a short break for lunch we will continue towards the Puerta del Desierto, Ouarzazate. Here you can visit the Atlas Studios and if we have time we can make another stop in Taourirt, an interesting fortified city. Then we will continue through the Palm Grove of Skoura and arrive at the Valley of Roses.
If you visit in May you can see the beautiful plantations and also the famous Festival de la Rosa.

After a free time for a cup of coffee we will continue to Dades where we will spend the first night.
DAY 2 – Todra – Merzouga – Desert Camp
After breakfast at your hotel we will go to a viewpoint where you will have an unparalleled view of the Dades Valley. We will continue and we will make another stop to take pictures until we reach the Gorges of Todra, where the landscape is simply spectacular. There they will have a free time to walk and interact with the locals before continuing to Touroug for lunch.
After lunch you will begin to feel the desert atmosphere when we start to enter the impressive dunes of Merzouga. We will leave you with a cameleer who will lead your camel ride to Erg Chebbi where you will contemplate one of the most beautiful sunsets you have ever seen in your life. Then they will continue on their dromedary until they reach the middle of the desert where a comfortable Haima will be waiting for them.

At the end of the dinner you can spend some time listening to Berber songs around a bonfire, and when all the lights have gone out you will have time to appreciate the incredible starry sky of the Sahara desert.
DAY 3 – Erg Chebbi – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga
On the third day we invite you to wake up early in the morning so you can see the sunrise in the desert. After breakfast you will return to Merzouga on your camel so that we can start exploring the Erg Chebbi Dunes. We will take the road of the Paris-Dakar Rally that will take us to the Oasis of Tissardmin. Here you can pick fossil stones and we will continue our way to visit the nomadic fields. They will enter a real nomad tent and can share with them to learn a little of their customs and traditions.
Our next stop is the village of Khamlia, here you will have a nice time listening to the Gnawa spiritual music. After lunch in the village we will take you to your accommodation and have the afternoon free to relax and watch the beautiful sunset in the nearby dunes.

After dinner at your hotel you can walk under the stars and enjoy your last night in the Sahara desert.
DAY 4 – Ziz – Bosque de los Cedros – Ifrane – Fez
After breakfast we head north towards the Palmeral de Tafilalet. We will pass thousands of palm trees until we reach the Ziz Valley. Here they will make a stop to take pictures and enjoy the beautiful views before continuing on to Midelt for lunch and a little rest.
After lunch we will go straight to Bosque de los Cedros, where you will see curious and friendly monkeys. Then we will make a stop in Ifrane, a city that will certainly arouse their curiosity. Its gardens and Swiss-style houses will make them feel as if they had suddenly been taken out of Morocco and left somewhere in Europe.
Ifrane is also known as the Moroccan Switzerland and even has its own resort for skiing. After a cup of coffee and a free time to stroll around this beautiful city we will continue towards Fez. After leaving them in your Riad / Hotel we said goodbye and our trip ends.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
The Zagora desert in Morocco is small and you will not be able to see tall dunes as seen in the photographs. If this is what you are looking for we recommend taking our 3-day tour to the desert of Merzouga.
