Route 2 days from Ouarzazate to the Chegaga Desert

Day 1: Ouarzazate – Anti Atlas – Agdez – Draa Valley – Mhamed – Erg Chegaga

Early departure from Ouarzazate in 4 × 4 to M’hamid through the Anti Atlas mountains to reach Agdez where the Daa Valley begins, we pass through a pleasant track dotted with Berber villages and green oases that cross the immense palm grove of the Valley Draa (largest date-producing region in Morocco) Lunch in Zagora, in the afternoon then to M’hamid last village in the valley. The paved road ends here, we continue our way along a track towards the dunes of Chegaga. ride a camel to watch the sunset over the dunes. Dinner and night in bivouac under nomadic tent in the heart of the desert.

Day 2: Chegaga – Iriqui Lake -Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Anti Atlas – Ouarzazate

Early in the morning we will see the show Dawn, after breakfast, departure to Ouarzazate along the track between Erg Chegaga and the dry lake of Draa through Lake Iriqui, then Foum Zguid. Continuing the road. Lunch at the Taznakht (known for its carpets). Arrival in Ouarzazate late in the afternoon.
