4×4 Excursion Through the Dunes of Erg Chebbi

4×4 EXCURSION FOR ERG CHEBBI DUNES

After breakfast we will explore the desert region and the incredible desert dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will make a circuit of the desert dunes, where you will have the opportunity to see the path of the Prod_2363_1 nomad of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert. We are going to visit the “black town” of Khamlia to see the gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch at the Berber family camp. After this you will have the opportunity to visit the sites of black volcanic rocks. Continuing, we will reach the panoramic of the dunes and visit the lake. We will visit Lake Merzouga only if there is water in it and you will be impressed by the landscape of the dunes, as well as the nearby lake (spring). Then we will return to Merzouga.

HOW DO WE FIND IN MERZOUGA?

Information – If you have your own car we are in our Shelter in the Center of Merzouga, where you have your room to leave your luggage that will not take you to the desert and to take a shower when you return – if you come by Bus or other transport we will be waiting for you at the station in the center of Merzouga and we will accompany you to our hostel
Bus time information: From Fez: There is daily during the night, leaves Fez around 20:00 at night and arrives in Merzouga around 5:00 in the morning. the bus called (Supratours)
From Marrakech: There is a daily bus leaving Marrakech at 08:00 in the morning and arriving at Merzouga at 20:00 at night the bus called (Supratours)

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

The Zagora desert in Morocco is small and you will not be able to see high dunes as seen in the photographs. If this is what you are looking for, we recommend you take our 3-day tour to the Merzouga desert.
