DAY 1 – Ait-Ben-Haddou – Zagora Desert Morocco
We will pass by you to your Riad and we will start our excursion from Marrakech to the Zagora desert driving through the High Atlas and the top of the impressive Tizi n’Tichka. We will cross several Berber villages making stops to take pictures and appreciate the beautiful panoramic views. Continue south until you reach the Kasbah Ait-Ben-Haddou. A fortified city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. They will have time to explore the place, rest and eat something.
After lunch at a local restaurant, we will continue our trip making strategic stops to take more photos and then stop to change our means of transport. We will teach them to wear a Moroccan turban and then we will go on a camel to watch the sunset.
Once you arrive at the camp a comfortable tent will be waiting for you along with a delicious dinner. At night you can enjoy Berber songs and spend the night under the stars.
DAY 2 – Vallée de Draa – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
We will start the second day early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise. After breakfast they will have another camel ride but now to return to Zagora, where their private 4X4 will be waiting for them. We will depart for the Draa Valley crossing the Anti Atlas to discover the hidden treasures of Ouarzazate. Once there you can explore the film studios of the city.
After lunch we will visit the Kasbah Taourirt and return to Marrakech where after leaving them in their Riad we say goodbye and finish our services.
The Zagora desert in Morocco is small and you will not be able to see tall dunes as seen in the photographs. If this is what you are looking for we recommend taking our 3-day tour to the desert of Merzouga.
